Fire Door vs Standard Internal Door – What’s the Difference?
A standard internal door is designed primarily for privacy and style, whereas an FD30 fire door is constructed with fire-resistant materials and seals to slow the spread of fire and smoke for at least 30 minutes. Fire doors are often required in multi-storey homes, loft conversions, HMO properties and certain renovation projects to comply with UK building regulations.
The Deanta Windsor Black Fire Door offers the same contemporary appearance as the standard Windsor internal door, but with certified fire protection built in.
