The Thermawood Grey Primed Surrey is a thermally efficient, obscure-glazed external door from Doorphoria’s new External Thermal Rated Door Range. Designed to deliver privacy, durability, and modern performance, the Surrey is ideal for front entrances, side doors, and exposed locations where both insulation and discretion are required.
Featuring a grey primed marine ply face with an aluminium sheet backing, this door offers enhanced strength and stability compared to traditional stile-and-rail doors, while achieving excellent thermal performance with U-values of 1.32–1.36 W/(m²·K).

Engineered to withstand the demands of the UK climate, the Surrey’s advanced layered construction improves resistance to moisture, movement, and temperature fluctuation. The aluminium sheet is positioned within the door construction, behind the outer face, significantly increasing rigidity without affecting the door’s external appearance.
Thanks to this durable design, no porch, canopy, or recess is required, even in exposed installations.

Each 44mm thick door is designed for versatility and can be trimmed by up to 25mm on all edges, making it suitable for renovation projects and new builds alike. Lightweight construction allows for easier handling and installation.
