This PAS24 FD30 apartment entrance doorset is designed to meet modern security, fire safety and acoustic performance requirements for residential and multi-occupancy buildings. Manufactured as a complete, tested doorset, it offers reliable compliance alongside a clean, contemporary appearance suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Real-World Security Performance – PAS24 Certified

Certified to PAS24:2022, this doorset is tested against realistic forced-entry scenarios using advanced attack tools and timed simulations. Security performance is delivered through a combination of robust construction and high-quality ironmongery, including a Winkhaus AV2 multi-point locking system and high-security 3-star cylinder providing resistance to snapping, bumping, picking, drilling and pulling.

Fully tested to BS 6375 Parts 2 and 3, the doorset satisfies the requirements of Approved Document Q for enhanced security on apartment entrance doors.

Fire, Smoke & Acoustic Protection

Constructed with a 44mm solid engineered core, this doorset provides dependable fire, smoke and sound performance, independently tested and certified to multiple UK standards:

  • EN 1634-1 – FD30 fire resistance (30 minutes)

  • EN 1634-3 – Smoke leakage control at ambient temperatures

  • Approved Document E – Acoustic performance tested up to 31dB

  • BS 6375-2 & 3 – Operational strength and durability

Designed for Finish Flexibility

The smooth-faced door leaf provides a versatile base for customisation, making it ideal for developments where a consistent finish is required across multiple plots. Doorsets are supplied factory primed, with the sapele hardwood frame also primed, ready for final decoration to suit your project specification.

A wide range of sizes is available to suit both standard and non-standard openings, ensuring a close fit across most apartment layouts.

Supplied as a Complete Pre-Hung Doorset

Each doorset is supplied pre-hung and factory assembled, with critical components pre-installed to simplify on-site fitting. This includes:

  • Door leaf and frame

  • Multi-point lock and keeps

  • Intumescent and smoke seals

  • Automatic drop-down threshold seal

  • Spy viewer

Only the handles and overhead door closer are fitted on site, allowing for fast, efficient installation — typically around 20 minutes per doorset (excluding decoration).

Handing & Configuration

Handing is selectable at the point of order and is defined as viewed from outside the apartment (communal side), ensuring clarity during specification and installation.
