Using Charlton Handles on Door Pairs
If fitting two pairs of handles to double doors (door pairs) where one leaf is required to remain fixed, a Taylor spindle (also known as a dummy spindle) is required.
- Allows the handle to be fixed in position
- Prevents operation of a latch on the fixed door leaf
Please ensure the correct spindle is selected when ordering for door pairs.
Important Compatibility Information
Due to the unique design of the Manhattan door range, which features narrow 80mm-wide stiles and rails, these doors must be paired with Manhattan-compatible black door hardware.
This handle has been designed to work with a 53mm latch casing to suit the Manhattan range. Using alternative or non-compatible hardware may result in poor fitment, damage to the door, or compromised functionality.
