Important Note: When ordering frames for the Oak Majestic Door and Sidelight please be aware that the frames may differ slightly in colour. This can easily be adjusted during the finishing process for a seamless look.
To calculate the overall opening for each external door, sidelight, and frame kit, we’ll add the width of the door, sidelight, and the frame uprights together:
Kit 1
Door width = 762mm
Sidelight width = 457mm
Frame uprights = 3 x 39mm (two uprights for each side of the kit and one between the door and sidelight for a total of three)
Total frame width = 3 x 39mm = 117mm
Overall opening = Door width + Sidelight width + Frame uprights
762mm + 457mm + 117mm = 1,336mm
Kit 1 Overall Opening = 1,336mm

Door width = 838mm
Sidelight width = 457mm
Frame uprights = 3 x 39mm
